Welcome to Eduvos.
Your journey to becoming a Vossie starts here! Orientation and Induction marks an exciting start to your Eduvos experience, where you’ll gain the knowledge and connections to start your studies confidently. This process is specially crafted to help first-year students transition smoothly, but returning students will also find helpful resources for a successful year ahead.
Eduvos Orientation.
Online Orientation and Induction Course: A virtual experience that introduces you to Eduvos systems and essential resources, preparing you ahead of the Block start. Students can access the course on MyLMS.
Orientation and Induction Meet & Greet: All Full-Time students will have an in-person experience where you’ll meet your peers, discover campus resources, learn your way around, and enjoy fun campus activities. Online students will have a virtual meet and greet.
To help you get started, we provide pre-arrival resources with guides on navigating Eduvos systems, understanding your academic calendar, and accessing your student timetable. You’ll also get to know key contacts like your Academic Student Experience Manager, your Student Advisor, and receive information about Eduvos policies, funding opportunities, and effective study techniques.
Student Representative Council (SRC).
You’ll also be welcomed by student leaders, including the Student Representative Council (SRC), who are here to support and guide you. The Student Representative Council (SRC) plays an important role in enhancing student life and ensuring student voices are heard within Eduvos. Here’s an overview of their key responsibilities:
The SRC represents the interests of the student body, voicing student concerns, suggestions, and issues to Eduvos administration and faculty.
Support and Guidance: They assist students in navigating policies, help address academic or social challenges and provide a point of contact for student queries.
Event and Community Engagement: Organising events, workshops, and social activities, the SRC fosters community, encouraging involvement and promoting student engagement beyond academics.
Communication Bridge: Acting as a liaison, the SRC communicates relevant information from the administration to students, keeping everyone informed of updates, initiatives, and changes within the institution.
Leadership and Development: By leading initiatives and working closely with students and staff, the SRC provides students with valuable leadership opportunities and professional growth experiences.
The SRC is here to support, connect, and empower students, working to create an enriching, inclusive, and dynamic campus environment for everyone.
Getting Started.
At Eduvos, learning happens everywhere, both inside and outside the classroom. Our innovative smart blended learning model empowers you to explore academic content on myLMS at your own pace before lectures. This ensures that you can actively engage with your coursework and deepen your understanding in lecturer-led sessions.
Smart blended learning combines synchronous learning (real-time sessions, either on campus or online) and asynchronous learning (at your own time and pace).
Hybrid Learning (Campus Full-Time Students)
Students follow a “one week on-campus, one week online” structure for most undergraduate qualifications, Monday to Friday. This hybrid approach alternates between:
- Physical lectures on campus, where you engage face-to-face with lecturers and classmates.
- Virtual lectures on MS Teams, offering flexibility while maintaining interactivity.
Lectures follow a consistent weekly schedule across the seven-week academic block, combining the benefits of on-campus and online learning. During online weeks, campus resources remain accessible for your convenience.
In cases of low enrolment for specific qualifications or electives, students may join national virtual lectures. These sessions can still be attended from campus to foster collaboration and make the most of the on-campus environment.

Our online qualifications offer flexibility for students who need to balance studies with other commitments. Online students attend live virtual sessions on MS Teams, where they actively participate in discussions and group work.
Key features include:
- Evening and Saturday lectures, typically 3 hours per week, scheduled from 18:00-21:00 (SAST).
- Options to study full-time (three to four modules per block) or part-time (one to two modules per block).
Whether you're on campus or online, Eduvos ensures that your learning journey is dynamic, engaging, and tailored to your needs.
