NQF Level 7 | Commerce and Law | Online Full Time | Degree: Bachelor of Commerce in Law | Saqa Id: 120724
The multidisciplinary nature of this qualification prepares you for work in many areas of business and is an excellent foundation for careers in commerce, marketing and human resources. It is also a pathway to a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) for those of you that want to practise law.

Our degree is broad and intensive. You will cover the general principles and techniques of commerce and law within the context of specialist commerce groups. In addition to Law as a major, you will have a choice to select one major from the core commerce majors which are Business Management and Human Resource Management.

You also gain invaluable understanding and skills in Business English, Computer Skills, Industrial Relations and Economics. You will also study a range of law modules in the field of Private and Mercantile Law. Because of our qualification’s unique emphasis on application, you will select, conduct and present a research project and complete an internship in your third year of study.

We believe the success of our BCom (Law) degree lies in a flexibility of subject choice, a curriculum that is relevant and highly qualified teaching staff. Our Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) environment, and your exposure to real legal cases, further prepares you for the world of work.

By introducing you to research, we are also preparing you for honours studies, a unique offering in undergraduate degrees.

This blended approach ensures that you graduate with essential work skills such as critical thinking, effective problem solving, collaborating in teams and communicating effectively as well as legal abilities like logical reasoning and making ethical judgments
