This Higher Certificate in Computing: Website Design and Development - Campus Full Time is designed to empower budding designers in creating and delivering websites that boast exceptional User Experience (UX) and innovative User Interface (UI). Acquainting students with the essential services necessary for hosting, managing, and accessing a secure website. Additionally, it intends to introduce and delve into the techniques that designers and developers utilise to amalgamate back-end (server-side) technologies with front-end (client-side) technologies.  
 
This qualification aims to widen access to higher education and boost career prospects in the rapidly evolving field of information technology (IT). Providing students with an opportunity to explore a myriad of tools, techniques, and technologies aligned with 'good design' principles. This exploration facilitates the planning, designing, and reviewing of a multipage website. 

Entry Requirements Important

• South African National Senior Certificate (NSC) with Bachelor’s degree, Diploma or Higher Certificate pass.
• Or a National Certificate (Vocational) Level 4 issued by the Council of General and Further Education and Training with a Bachelor’s degree, Diploma or Higher Certificate pass.
• Or a certificate of evaluation on a minimum NQF level 4 for foreign qualification issued by SAQA.
• Or a letter or certificate confirming an exemption from Universities South Africa (USAf) for any other school-leaving results.
• Or completion of a Bachelor’s degree, Diploma, Higher Certificate or equivalent.
